Foodcourt is very sparce nowadays and the selection that remains is nowhere near as good as it used to be, prices are still the same though, which you didnt mind paying when the produce was always good, you could always depend on a nice lunch before, a big shame! 😕

Always a good experience. Attractive shopping area, lots of plants and gifts to choose from and the cafe/restaurant offers great food.

Well stocked garden centre, albeit vey expensive... very over priced. Tried the restaurant today again and it was honestly revolting... again. Ordered a tuna and cheese pannini and what I got was a slightly warm baguette with not enough tuna which tasted off and to much cheese... was inedible. Won't be eating there again! Overall, pricey but cheap tat worth terrible food and non helpful staff. Edit: they also claim this is a spam review, I was back in their today to see if any better... it is not. Shows their attitude, rather than addressing their issues, they simply claim the reviews are fake...utterly pathetic. If I could give zero stars I would

I LOVE a nice garden centre, but this is a GREAT garden centre. From the moment you enter the displays are so eye catching that you WANT to buy something. They have so many lovely things it's hard to choose. This is NOT Dobbies,Simply put Simpsons is so much better. The restaurant is spacious and has a lovely view, the choice of food on offer is lovely. My only grumble is the cakes and biscuits are a little overpriced but tasty,so i suppose you get what you pay for. Next time you almost pass by DONT.Go in and treat yourself...I did.

Been to the restaurant many times for lunch. First time for breakfast today but unfortunately can’t recommend. Don’t understand why they don’t have a few veggie sausages readily available. Had to order one specially and wait. The girl also told us that there were no poached eggs only scrambled or fried, despite them being advertised as cooked to order. We noticed that the table next to us seemed to get them fine. I had to go back to the counter twice with the fried eggs, which had uncooked slimy white on them. I chose one that did look cooked but it was hard and rubbery and had obviously been sat there all morning. The potato scones were also soaked in oil. Really disappointing as the lunches we’ve had there have been lovely.

Came to check out this popular garden centre and cafe/restaurant. In all honesty, we were a bit disappointed with both aspects of Simpsons. The garden centre was less than impressive, with items being overpriced and lots of the plants not being in the best of condition. The café was again very overpriced and I have to say very underwhelming. I have definitely had better drinks and cakes in motorway services than what was available at Simpsons. Definitely won't be hurrying back, that's for certain!

Simpsons Garden Centre in Inverness offers a wide range of products for gardening, home decor, and more, with something for everyone. The variety is impressive, and the store is well-organized. However, I find the prices on some products fair but most of them to be ridiculously overpriced. I’ve visited the coffee shop and restaurant many times, but I feel compelled to leave a negative review after my recent experiences. The staff is consistently rude, and I’ve observed multiple occasions where food was served without gloves. Even worse, I’ve seen staff touching their faces, mobile phones, and kitchen bells before handling food, which is concerning from a hygiene perspective. The coffee is equally disappointing—it really needs some serious improvement. The lack of coffee training is obvious, and the drinks are consistently poor quality. I’m making an exception in leaving this review because, as a regular customer, I’ve had enough of the subpar service and unsatisfactory food and drink experiences.

What a brilliant restaurant - well organised, well maintained, with great food choices and friendly, helpful staff. There was a genuine sense of welcome and hospitality, which along with good food, made our lunchtime visit an outstanding experience. I opted for the baked potato with haggis filling, but passed on including the grated cheddar. It was absolutely delicious, and it was a very generous helping. Many thanks to everyone at Simpsons.

Best place to go for fish. I usually lose fish after purchase but not since using Simpsons. The place is huge with everything you could want. It becomes a magical wee place during christmas

The best garden centre in Inverness, with lots more than gardening stuff. Very attractively set up.
